The Iranian Highflying Tumbler pigeon is a breed of domestic pigeon from Iran. It has come from three major cities of Iran: Kashan, Qom and Tehran. It is bred mainly raised for performance and endurance flying competitions. It is also known as Persian Highflying Tumbler in Europe. And the breed is known as Tehrani in Iran. These birds are endurance flyers gaining altitude quickly, and have reported to fly as long as 8-12 hours. Along the above three cities, the high flyer type pigeons can also be found in other parts of the country. But they are actually based on those three cities, specially Tehran.
